Government’s decision to cancel Carnival 2021 is being described as “dictatorial”.
Soca singer Darryl ‘Farmer Nappy’ Henry says what is needed is consultation on the possibilities, which can now be created.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley weeks ago said there would be no Carnival because of the COVID-19 pandemic and this country’s bid to curb infections.
However Mr. Henry says he has been in discussions with artiste Jaiga TC about the staging of events.
Mr. Henry was speaking on the Legends and Legacies program on i95.5fm last Saturday.
Cohost and music producer Sheriff supported his idea.
