Member of Parliament for San Juan/Barataria Fuad Khan says he will not be supporting Kamla Persad Bissessar for political leader of the United National Congress. Dr. Khan says the UNC has suffered under her leadership.

Speaking with News Centre Five yesterday, Dr. Khan said the former Prime Minister, now Opposition Leader, should not be allowed another term.

On December 5^th the UNC will hold internal elections and Mrs. Persad Bissessar has already launched her bid for another term.

Dr. Khan said yesterday Mrs. Persad Bissessar should have resigned after the defeat on September 7^th. Nomination day in the UNC is November 20^th.

Mrs. Persad Bissessar could be facing a contest from Vasant Barath and Dr. Roodal Moonilal.

While their names are being called as possible challengers, both men have not confirmed their candidacies.
