A 3.8 magnitude earthquake shakes parts of the country.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre says the quake occurred on Saturday night in the northern parts of Trinidad and Tobago.
According to the Centre’s seismological computational system, the tremor occurred just 74 kilometres north of Port of Spain. The Centre warns, the event has not yet been reviewed by an analyst.
It says it is a preliminary result and this may vary when new additional data are processed.
