Director of the Womens International Network for Alternative Development, Folade Mutota calls on the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to remove Inspector Roger Alexander from the Beyond the Tape program.
Beyond the Tape is an initiative of the police service which airs on TV6.
Ms. Mutota says the TTPS will remove the program cohost if it is serious about Community Policing.
This follows a statement by Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley on the issue of Community Policing.
Ms. Mutota says as the voice of the police service the inspector is not giving good representation.
Speaking with Newscentre 5 yesterday she said the tone of the police service does not favor the underprivileged.
Last week the Prime Minister said Community Policing would be his administrations first line of attack in the fight against rising crime.
