A prison officer is gunned down in Morvant. He is Superintendent David Millet.

The brazen daylight killing occurred around 8.30 am today at Cipriani Avenue.

Reports say the 50 year old man was sitting in his car, near his Upper 9th Avenue, Second Caledonia home when gunshots were heard.
