Police believe gang vi­o­lence is behind the murders of Ker­win Williams and En­rique Lochin in east Trinidad.

According to reports the two were am­bushed by a gun­man short­ly be­fore mid­day at Hoyte Av­enue, Pinto Road Arima.

Police reports say they were killed on the spot.

Investigators be­lieve their mur­ders may be linked to the killings of Devon Ash and Brent Ed­wards, which took place in the area re­cent­ly.

Last Monday night, De­von Ash was pur­chas­ing items at the cor­ner of the East­ern Main and Mt. Zion Road, Ari­ma, when he was shot in the head and about the body by a gun­man.

Mr. Edwards was killed on Saturday af­ter vis­it­ing his girl­friend in the area.

Police say Mr. Edwards was threat­ened ear­li­er and told not to re­turn to the area.

Po­lice are work­ing on the the­o­ry that the mur­ders may be linked.
