Housing Development Corporation’s Vieux Fort homes in St. James

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is urging new HDC home owners to pay their rents or risk eviction.

Dr. Rowley was speaking to new owners of the Housing Development Corporation’s Vieux Fort homes in St. James at yesterday’s key distrubution ceremony.

Dr. Rowley said people must do the right thing.

He also implored persons to behave in a decent and mature manner.

According to the Prime Minister, some persons display good behaviour until they receive their homes.

Dr. Rowley also spoke of unacceptable conduct by persons who should know better.

The Prime Minister said the HDC has no intention of tolerating bad behaviour from any tenant, whether they are renting or paying a mortgage.
