Dr. Keith Rowley says he was pleased with the election process within his party.
This, following his slate’s a clean sweep on Sunday.
The Internal Election saw the Red Team capturing all positions contested, including the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Public Relations Officer.
Head of the team’s campaign, Rohan Sinanan says there were over 80 thousand PNM members eligible to vote.
He says he is pleased with the numbers.
Among those who would have won under the banner of the Red Team, are Colm Imbert as Chairman of the party, Robert Le Hunte as Vice Chairman and Foster Cummings won the position of General Secretary.
Speaking on the Morning Show on i95.5fm yesterday, Mr. Sinanan said the victory was unmistakable.
The Red Team also included Overand Padmore, for Education Officer, Daniel Dookie for Assistant General Secretary and Laurel Lezama Lee Sing, who contested the post of Public Relations Officer.
After he voted on Sunday, Political Leader and Prime Minister Dr. Rowley expressed satisfaction with the voting process.
PNM members voted in the 42 constituencies on Sunday.
Dr. Rowley’s position was uncontested and so too were the positions of Lady Vice Chairman, Labour Relations Officer and Welfare Officer.
