Persons, who have wild meat in their possession, are being told to quickly dispose of them as the hunting season comes to a close.
The hunting season officially closes today, in accordance with the conservation of wildlife act chapter 67:01.
In a release the division of food security, natural resources, the environment and sustainable development, reminds members of the public that the closed season runs from April 1st to September 30th.
It adds, the month of March is a grace period, which allows for the disposal of, any prohibited meat articles during the closed season.
