A community in east Trinidad is in a state of shock today…following word that a gun attack on a group of men has led to three deaths.

The dead are Junior Sobers and Leon Sobers of Harper Circular Reid Lane, D’abadie and Joel Alexander.

Christopher Dottin and Nijasnne Charles were wounded in the attack.

They are now hospitalised following the incident which occurred at around 6:30 last evening.

Reports are saying the men were doing work on a house belonging to the Sobers family when they were attacked by a gunman riding a bycicle.

Several shots were fired and Mr. Leon Sobers was hit in the chest.

He died on the spot.

The other two died on arrival at the Arima Health Facility.
