Six flights between Trinidad and Tobago along with visits to the Bucco Reef are now allowed as part of the government’s move to save Tobago’s economy.
During the COVID-19 media conference on Saturday Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley announced the easing of some restrictions on the sister isle.
However Political Leader of the Tobago Organisation of the People, Ashworth Jack describes it as a catch 22 situation.
He questions how can one visit the reef if the beaches remain closed.
Mr. Jack says the island has suffered a lot because of COVID and the hiring freeze is not helping.
The TOP leader who is also a restaurant owner believes there can be some relaxation on the restrictions to restaurant operators.
