A claim that there are people calling themselves fishermen involved in the movement of Venezuelans on the high seas.

The claim is coming from lobby group Fishermen and Friends Of the Sea.

Secretary of the organisation Gary Aboud yesterday said some people are facilitating illegal activities on the seas.

Mr. Aboud said the authorities are aware of the situation yet still the radar systems remain inoperable.

Mr. Aboud was speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday.
