Police are investigation a double murder in San Juan. Newscenter 5 understands at around 9 o’clock last evening residents of Bagatelle Road, San Juan were alerted by explosions and contacted police.

Upon arrival the body of Karen Grant was discovered on a staircase outside a house and the body of a man was found a short distance away. Another man was discovered suffering from a shot and was rushed to hospital where he remains warded.

The 19-year-old woman was said to be from Diego Martin. The deceased man is yet to be identified. Police believe the incident was a reprisal for an earlier shooting in the Laventille Road area. Investigations are continuing.

Meanwhile around 11: 05 pm a 35-year-old man was gunned down at his home in Marabella. Dead is Selwyn John. Reports say two armed men stormed the house and fired several shots. Mr. John was later found dead in his living room.
