The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission says despite a number of power outages across the country there is no need for concern.

T & TEC says it has scheduled outages in its five districts across the country in the coming days.

Communications manager at the utility Annabelle Brasnell says power is expected to be returned by 3:00 p.m. on the days of outages. Miz Brasnell tells Newscentre five the works are not intended to be major interruptions.

Among the areas to be affected are Glencoe, St Anns, Cap de Ville and Debe.
