Transport Minister Fitzgerald Hinds says he is not aware of any accident at sea involving the T&T Express.

While he admits the vessel is due to be dry docked for maintenance works, he insists it is not because of any damage sustained during an accident.

Minister Hinds was responding to questions posed by Tabaquite MP Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan in the parliament yesterday.

Responding to another question this time from Couva south MP Rudranath Indarsingh on a possible rise in water taxi fares, Mr. Hinds assured no increase is currently on the horizon.

The men were speaking during the Standing Finance Committee in the parliament yesterday.
