Twenty-four hours after he is reported missing the body of 2-year-old Kymani Francis is found.

Reports say the child’s lifeless body was discovered in the Guapo River at around 10:40am this morning, not far away from his home in Teshier Village Point Fortin.

His mother Kimberly Francis said earlier today, there was a frantic search in the area for little Kymani.

Before the discovery, Kymani’s mother spoke on the Red Hott Morning Show on sister station RED 96.7fm.

She was convinced the child was not in the area.

Hunters, neighbours, the search and rescue team from the fire service, and police officers conducted extensive searches.
