A toddler is dead following an attack on her family’s home, she is identified as Keera Singh.

The incident occured at around 1: 15am today.

Police say 2 year-old baby Keera was asleep with her parents when gunmen opened fire at the Patna Village Diego Martin home.

The baby girl was hit in the stomach area.

She was rushed to the St. James Infirmary where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the child’s father is well known to police.

Homicide officers, Supt. Patterson, CID Cpl. Farrel and officers of the Western Division including PC Khan Duntin visited the scene.
