Several homes in Tobago have lost their roofs due to heavy winds.

Bad weather hit the east of the island last night and again early this morning ripping off roofs from homes in at least four villages.

At one pm today, a weather bulletin from the Met Office warned that Tobago will continue to experience heavy downpours with strong winds.

The Met Office also predicted flooding and cautioned citizens on their outdoor activities.
