There are reports of yet another murder in the Arouca district. Dead is Amalgamated Security officer Curtis Noel.

He was gunned down during the early hours of this morning.

Reports say around 2 o’ clock, 55 year old Mr Noel, of Mausica Road, D’Abadie, was in the company of a 29-year-old woman at a guest house along the Piarco Road, when he was approached by an armed man.

It is said a fight ensued. The suspect is then said to have pulled out a gun and opened fire on Mr Noel, hitting him once in the neck.

The assailant then escaped.

Mr Noel was rushed to the Arima District Hospital where was pronounced dead on arrival.
