A robbery at a gas station in Valsayn leaves one man hospitalised.
Reports say around 1 pm on Saturday, five men drove into the NP gas station, off the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and proceeded to attack a pump attendant.
Police say the men came in a vehicle that made an illegal drive causing the attendant to caution them.
It was then the occupants exited the car and proceeded to beat and rob the pump attendant.
The attendant who was severely beaten sustained lacerations to his head and lost two front teeth.
The men drove off but later returned with a cutlass.
The workers, afraid for their safety, locked the doors and hid inside.
Newscenter 5 understands one of the men used the cutlass and attempted to chop the burglar proofing.
