Reports are now saying Sherian Huggins’ 4 children witnessed her killing, at the hands of the man with whom she shared a home.

Yesterday morning Ms. Huggins was chopped to death at her Dan Kelly, Laventille home.

Kevon Harris was the attacker.

He was found 2 hours later, hanging from a tree at Woodford Square.

When police went to the family’s home, the body of 27-year-old Ms. Huggins was found on the floor in a pool of blood.

The children were at a neighbor’s house.

Reports say the couple had an argument at around 4am.

During the exchange Mr. Harris is said to have dealt Ms. Huggins several chop wounds to her torso and neck.

It is reported the woman’s 10-year-old son tried to protect his mother by taking a kitchen knife and stabbing Mr. Harris in the back.

The man jumped through a window and escaped.

Relatives say the couple separated recently after a very stormy relationship.
