Police are still seeking the identity of one of the latest murder victims in the country.

The man’s name has been given as cody, but up to last evening there was no positive ID.

During the early hours of yesterday morning the man was shot close to the Mid Centre Mall in Chaguanas.

Police say when they went to the scene the man was unconscious, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Earlier in Arouca 31-year-old Kamau Charles of Windy Hill, Arouca was shot outside the la luna bar on the eastern main road.

Mr. Charles was shot in the head at around 2:30 am yesterday.

Police say Mr. Charles had a criminal record.

Investigators believe Mr. Charles’ killer was also liming in the bar and followed him outside.

Three hours later there was a shooting outside the Mid Centre Mall in Chaguanas.

Police say when they went to the scene the man, who was up to last night unidentified, was unconscious.

But he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The two murders raised the toll for the year to 312.
