Police are at this time investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of a 34-year-old man in central Trinidad.

Reports say at around 12:30 am, Lisimiba Daniel was walking north along Mc Catjy Street in Enterprise, Chaguanus when several loud explosions were heard.

Upon investigating residents found Mr. Daniel lying in a pool of blood with multiple gun shot wounds to his head and right leg.

An autopsy, is scheduled to be performed on the body of Mr. Daniel later today.
