Jamaica’s Police Commissioner Antony Anderson is declaring that the Police Force will not allow a return to the levels of violence seen 3 years ago.
This against the background of what he calls a slight increase in violence in St. James, and other areas over the past 2 weeks.
Commissioner Anderson says the Force’s process has begun and will extend into the New Year.
Major General Anderson says there will be increased deployment over the Christmas period.
He says the plan is to keep Jamaicans safe.
