Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is being criticized over the escalating crime facing the country.

Naparima MP Rodney Charles says the crime rate has become a runaway horse under Dr. Rowley’s leadership.

He was speaking at the UNC’s media briefing yesterday, when he called on Dr. Rowley to responded to a number of questions.

Mr. Charles said National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds must take full responsibility for the situation.

He said if Minister Hinds cannot do the job then he should step down.
