A pensioner is fatally stabbed at his debe home.

Dead is Rabindranath Khelewan.

Reports say at around 10:30 last night, 59-year-old Mr. Khelewan was involved in a dispute with a male relative.

Police say the argument soon became violent when the relative stabbed Mr. Khelewan several times about the body.

Mr. Khelewan, of Ramnarine Marajah Trace, was discovered in the kitchen of the house in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.

Police have since detained a male suspect in connection with the murder.
