It is official the new school term begins on September 1^st.

However, Education Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby Dolly says online learning and teaching will be conducted during the new term until further notice.

Dr. Gadsby Dolly was speaking at a media conference at her officers this morning.

Minister Gadsby Dolly said there would be two categories of students, those available online and those who are not.

She said the onus would be on parents to collect these packages at their children’s schools.

Meanwhile the Minister said work from home arrangements for teachers are to be encouraged.

However, she is leaving it up to principals to arrange with their teachers.

The Minister said there must at all times be student teacher interactions.

She said it is expected that all schools would be fully engaged in teaching and learning activities by September 14^th.
