The National Security Minister says new policing techniques are coming because crime continues to be a major problem in the country.
Speaking at health and safety conference hosted by the American Chamber this morning, Minister Edmund Dillion said, all law enforcement agencies will be strategically integrated to combat crime.
He noted that the ministry intends to expand in several areas so as to better protect the citizens.
Mr. Dillon called on both the private and public sectors to lend support to the protective services.
And the Minister also said the target of police must be the perpetrators of human trafficking and illegal drug importation. He said the necessary law enforcement and military assets will be employed.
He assured all available resources will be utilized to get the situation under control.
