Four people are killed in separate situations.

Among them are a mother and son.

In the latest incident Abeilla Cudjoe and her son Levi Andrews were found chopped to death at their penal home this morning at around 6:30.

Ms. Cudjoe was 36-years-old while her son was 12.

Reports say the find was made at Latchoos Road in Penal.

Newscenter 5 understands neighbors heard several screams coming from the house during early hours this morning.

Investigations later revealed the gruesome discovery.

Police were contacted.

And a man well known to police is shot and killed in St. James.

Reports say Darnell Singh was shot to death on Bombay Street at around 3am this morning.

Newscenter 5 understands Mr. Singh was in the company of other men in the area allegedly cutting cable wires.

A man wearing a hoodie approached them and fired several shots at the group of men.

mr. Singh died at the scene of the attack.

And a market vendor is shot and killed in Arima.

He has been identified identified as a Trevor Lequay.

Mr. Lequay is well known for selling items such as the tomatoes, lettuce, seasoning etc.

Reports say the incident took place at his home at Devertile Street in Arima.

Newscenter 5 understands Mr. Lequay was called outside his house and when he went to investigate he was shot approximately 10 times.

Mr. Lequay died at the scene.

Police were then contacted.
