A man is chopped to death in south Trinidad. He is Jason Clement.

The incident is said to have occurred at the Granville Beach Facility last night.

Reports say around 7 o’ clock, 22 year old Mr Clement was in the company of his girlfriend, Angeline De-Gannes, when they were approached by a man armed with a cutlass.

The man is then said to have dealt Mr Clement chops to the head.

He died at the scene. An autopsy is expected to be performed on the body today.
