The Minister of Finance will tomorrow go to the parliament and seek approval to raise the borrowing ceiling by 50 billion dollars. Speaking with reporters yesterday Minister Robinson Regis said the problem is one inherited by her government from the last administration. President of the Trinidad and Tobago Contractors Association Mikey Joseph is reported as saying contractors are owed more than one billion dollars by the state.
