The Jamaica Air Traffic Controllers Association says it is awaiting word from the Finance Ministry on how to proceed with the current wage talks.
President, Kurt Solomon, says a major item in their wage negotiations with the Government is for a restructuring exercise to be conducted.
This in light of the fact, that the air traffic controllers are expected to receive new equipment within the next 2 years. He says the Ministry of Labour has also been informed of its position.
Mr. Solomon says the management of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority has informed the Union that it is still awaiting word from the government on the wage talks.
