Investigations continue into the murder of 28-year-old Vanessa Ackie.

Ms. Ackie’s body was found down a precipice on Morne Coco Road Petit Valley on monday afternoon.

The discovery was made by relatives of an accident victim who were going to place flowers at the scene of the tragedy.

Police were notified and officers of the Western Division responded.

Ms. Ackie was identified on Monday by her tattoos as her body was badly decomposed.

Police say she sustained several stab wounds.

Ms. Ackie, whose nickname was ‘Buffy’ hailed from St. James.

Police say they received information that Ms. Ackie was last seen alive on Saturday.
