Shurland Brown, aka ‘Big Mesh’, is charged with murder.

Twenty-three-year-old Mr. Brown is accused of unlawfully killing Joshua Fortune, in 2019.  

It is alleged that he killed Mr. Fortune in St. James on September 18^th last year.

Mr. Brown appeared virtually before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate yesterday to answer to the charged of murder.

Mr. Brown, a resident of Long Circular Road, St James, was arrested last Thursday and taken into custody at the Besson Street Police Station following investigations.

He was officially charged with Mr. Fortune’s murder on Tuesday, following the advice of Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.
