The Attorney General tells of the right to appeal if persons feel they have been unjustly fined for not wearing a facemask.
The penalty for flouting the law on first offence is $1,000.
On Sunday Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi said people do have the right to appeal.
Mr. Al Rawi said there is another option, if one disagrees with the fine imposed.
And County Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jeanine St. Bernard is appealing with COVID-19 positive patients to be honest about their symptoms when asked.
She says people very often do not tell the truth about their condition when talking to a health care professional.
On Sunday Dr. St Bernard said there were reports that persons who are being managed at home have not been wearing their masks putting family members at risk.
