The Acting Attorney General reveals more discrepancies in payments to State attorneys.
In the Senate yesterday Minister Stuart Young said it was expected that the figure paid in legal fees will cross one billion dollars.
The Port of Spain North/St. Anns West MP said fees under the AG’s office are charged on an hourly rate.
According to the Acting AG it would have been impossible to have amassed such an invoice.
Mr. Young was at the time contributing to the ongoing debate on the 2015/2016 budget.
