The Water And Sewerage Authority wants customers affected by issues at the Hillsborough west and Highlands Road Water Treatment Plants in Tobago to be patient.
For much of the rainy season this year, there have been frequent disruptions in the water supply in the districts, with the most recent occurring over the past week.
Senior manager, project implementation at WASA’s Tobago division, Andrew Daniel is blaming human activity for the situation.
As a result, Mr. Daniel said the authority would be embarking on a certain course of action to help ease the situation.
He pledged to work towards an improvement in WASA’s communication with the public going forward.
