People of Point Fortin demand justice after toddler is found dead

Kymani Francis

Angry residents of Point Fortin are demanding justice following the death of 2-year-old Kymani Francis.

Twenty-four hours after he was reported missing, Kymani was discovered dead near a river not too far away from his Teshier Village home yesterday morning.

Neighbours and concerned individuals demanded justice outside the homes of the child’s relatives and a woman who last saw him walking along the road.

The eyewitness, Zoi Quan Kep turned to Facebook yesterday, explaining what she did when she saw Kymani.

She said she is now being blamed and there are even threats.

Police do not suspect foul play in the death of Kymani. However a post mortem is to be conducted
