A bleeding 24-year-old Narissa Goora is said to have described one of her attackers to relatives hours before she died. Because of the description she gave, police have detained one man in connection with her killing.

Ms. Goora was fatally stabbed while walking to her Sangre Grande home on Wednesday evening. Investigators have been talking with the man and the search is on for another.

Ms. Goora was a clerk at the Sangre Grande Health Center. During the attack she received a stab wound just above her navel. She died while undergoing emergency surgery at the Sangre Grande Hospital.

Ms. Goora was the second woman to be murdered after leaving their workplace in Sangre Grande recently.  Police are still investigating the murder of Felicia Persad, of Vega de Oropouche.

Her body was found in Mitan River, Manzanilla, last month. Ms. Persad was found in a leather bag which had been tied to the root of a mangrove tree.
