Investigations are continuing into the accident which killed Ishmael Mohammed.

Mr. Mohammed was crushed between the wheels of a trailer truck along the Solomon Hochoy highway yesterday.

Reports say Mr. Mohammed, who was a mechanic, was working underneath the truck when two other vehicles collided.

One of the vehicles slammed into the truck causing it to roll over Mr. Mohammed. He became pinned between the wheels.

The accident occurred just after the Tarouba flyover on the southbound land of the highway near the University of Trinidad and Tobago San Fernando campus.

It was the second fatal accident yesterday. The other victim is 25 year old Kevin Laggan.

He was killed when his van crashed into a utility pole in enterprise Chaguanas. Mr. Laggan died on impact.
