Two brothers, Jason and Junior Soogrim have drowned at a pool in Valencia.
Junior was 13 and Jason was 7-years-old.
They were from Capana Road and lived with their father.
It is reported they went to an abandoned pool with an adult neighbour yesterday morning.
The 45-year-old neighbour said the boys ran ahead of him and got into the pool.
He then saw them having difficulty and tried to save them.
He too had problems and got out of the pool to find help.
The two boys were pulled out of the water and were found to be unresponsive.
They were later pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers of the Valencia
Police Post and Emergency Response Unit went to the area.
The bodies of the boys were taken to the Sangre Grande Mortuary for autopsies today.
