The Ministry of Health reports 13 additional COVID-19 deaths.

Eight elderly men, 2 elderly women, 1 middle aged woman, and 1 young adult woman died of the virus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 1,709.

The Ministry explains that 5 of the patients had multiple comorbidities, including a mix of diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, kidney disease, heart disease and a history of strokes.

Further, it says 3 had diabetes as their only comorbidity, and 5 had no known comorbidities.

There are also 90 new cases of the virus.

The Ministry says the total number of active positive cases now stands at 4,795.
