Watson Duke says Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley appears to be afraid of him and his potential power.

The Prime Minister has been warning Tobagonians against electing Mr. Duke to the Parliament.

But at a meeting of his Progressive Democratic Patriots in Speyside last evening, Mr. Duke hit back accusing the PNM of being afraid of him as Prime Minister.

The PDP leader also accused Dr. Rowley of trying to introduce race into the Tobago political landscape.

However he said as PSA President he cannot discriminate.

Last weekend the Prime Minister; Dr. Keith Rowley described Mr. Duke as the proxy for the United National Congress in Tobago.

Watson Duke will contest Tobago east for the PDP while Tashia Grace Burris will fly the green and black flag in Tobago west.
