Vasant Bharath wants a thorough probe into the results of the Internal Elections of the United National Congress. Mr. Bharath says the authencity of the ballot papers must be verified. Mr. Bharath admits he is dissapointed with the results.

Meanwhile Basdeo Panday is predicting an un-natural death for the UNC under re-elected leader Kamla Persad Bissessar. Yesterday Mr. Panday told Newscentre 5 from all reports the Elections seemed to have been manipulated. On Sunday Dr. Moonilal said questions surrounding the balloting process and the results could be challenged in court. However, head of the Elections Management Committee of the UNC Dr. Rampersad Parasram is insisting the internal polls were well conducted.
