Meanwhile former Minister and Member of Parliament, Vasant Barath sees the tongue lashing of the government to Mrs. Persad Bissessar as an embarrassment for the United National Congress.

Mr. Barath is seeking to topple Kamla Persad Bissessar as Political Leader of the UNC.

Last evening, at a meeting of his team contesting the December 6^th UNC Elections Vassant Barath said Mrs. Persad Bissessar was slammed for her utterances on the government/Patriotic Energies negotiations.

He said it was yet another reason why the UNC leadership must change.

Mr. Barath had on his platform Barrington “Skippy” Thomas, Dr. Stephen Ramroop and former MP Ramona Ramdial.
