The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teacher’s Association says the principal of Cuche Government Primary School is considering legal action against a parent who accused him of forcing a student to eat out of a garbage bin. The allegation was made by the father of a pupil.

Speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday TTUTA Vice President Lynsley Doodhai said there was no truth to the claims whatsoever. He said the parent was later taken into police custody. Mr. Doodhai noted that the matter will not end there.

The child’s father accused the principal of forcing the child to finish the contents of the boxed lunch he had already thrown into the garbage.
