The youngest COVID-19 death is recorded in Trinidad and Tobago.
The fatality is an 18-year-old woman.
The authorities say the teenager had prevailing medical conditions.
Confirmation of the teenager’s death came from Principal Medical Office Institutions, Dr. Maryam Richards yesterday.
The patient died on Monday.
Dr. Richards did not disclose further details about the person in keeping with the practice adopted by health officials in maintaining patient confidentiality.
However she did tell reporters about repatriation flights expected in Trinidad and Tobago in the coming days.
In the next 6 days 3 repatriation flights are expected, beginning today.
There has also been another death.
This time an elderly man with co-morbidities.
He died yesterday bringing the tally to 107.
