Trinidad and Tobago nationals marooned in Venezuela are said to be getting anxious.
The nationals who were expected to be flown in last month are saying while National Security Minister Stuart Young has granted the exemption, no communication has been made with authorities in Venezuela.
Yesterday Attorney at Law Prakash Ramadhar called on the government to act.
The attorney said he fears a repeat of the Barbados situation.
Mr. Ramadhar has written at least three letters to the office of Foreign Affairs Minister Dennis Moses on the matter.
Newscenter 5 also made efforts to contact the Minister, but calls went unanswered.
