There have been three murders recorded over the weekend.

The incidents occurred in Maloney, Fyzabad and Arima.

In the latest incident Miguel Butler also known as Meeks is the victim.

He was 35 years old.

Reports say the incident took place at Evergale Avenue, Maloney Gardens around 4:15pm yesterday afternoon.

News Centre Five understands Mr.Butler and another man known only as Fights, were liming outside building 5 when a silver Nissan Ad Wagon pulled up.

Residents told police four armed men emerged, and opened fire killing Mr. Butler at the scene, Fights was also hit.

He ran towards building 3 where he collapsed.

He was taken to the Arima district hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the body of a 54-year-old man has been found close to a Panyard in Arima.

The victim is David Francis Rodriguez, his body was found on Saturday night near Nutones Panyard.

Mr. Rodriguez was found below a mango tree, blood was oozing from the back of the head.

A member of the public is said to have seen the dead man and flagged down a police SUV along Maurice Avenue in Arima.

Meanwhile a man was found dead on a bed in a house in Fyzabad yesterday morning.

Kern Alexis was shot in the head.

A man who lives on Dubarry Street Fyzabad told police at around three am he heard the explosions.

The man said he had given permission to stay two nights in his house.

He explained that after he heard the gunshots he found Mr. Alexis on a bed in a downstairs bedroom.
