An opposition senator in St. Lucia angers a former Prime Minister following statements she made about Caribbean leaders, not knowing when to bow out gracefully.
Senator Mary Isaac is said to have targeted former St. Lucia Prime Minister Stephenson King when she made the statement at a united workers party convention last Sunday.
It led to mister king and his delegation walking out of the convention.
Senator Isaac makes no apologies for her position.
Stephenson King finds the statement disrespectful.
Mister King is still a member of parliament. He was the leader of the U.W.P. when it was in government.
Senator Mary Isaac’s comment came after the re-elected leader of the party called for peace and unity.
